Rabbits crooked at Crook

The majority of the Parklands Rabbits team struggled on an unfamiliar course at Crook Golf Club on Saturday 18th July. The combination of wind, blind shots and sloping fairways (which double up as ski jumps in winter) was too much for a number of players and Parklands finished a disappointing 6th .

The only good news from the day was a sleeve of balls forĀ  Paul Ankers after his 2, and an extra-large Polo shirt for Dicky Rutherford for being nearest the pin in 2 shots on the 18th hole .

But we move on with enthusiasm and optimism that we will do well in the next fixture, which is the re-arranged event at Parklands on Sunday 26/7/15, where a win would put us back in contention for qualifying for finals day.
